Is the dock usb port c also, or a different a/c adapter input?
the dock itself is usb c but the dock has usb type a ports
Inside the dock
-AC Adaptor port looks the same as the port inside the dock which are usb c
-Back is 1 x USB 3.0
-Side are 2 x USB 2.0
-Both are Type A
-HDMI is output via USB C Displayport alt mode (2 lanes hence limited to 1080p so that the extra USB ports on the dock can function) with conversion to HDMI inside the dock
-It's suspected that the audio comes out via Displayport too since that's an optional part of the Displayport alt mode and the Fig 32 in the link below does not show a USB DAC
The dock is definitely not using the USB C HDMI alt mode because of the following 2 reasons.
1. The HDMI alt mode specs were only just finalised just in September which would delay testing/certification and release.
2. HDMI alt mode requires all 4 lanes on USB C to function hence the USB 2.0/3.0 ports would fail to function.

On the FCC site, the test reports (Both DFS and NII) have info on the voltage/current ratings of both the unit and charger in section 2. Also tested was the Wii Ethernet Adapter
