You can't change the base amiibo. For example if it is already a Yoshi amiibo, you can't just change it to be a Wolf Link amiibo.

As for updating the data of the amiibo... I have been unable to update my real Wolf Link amiibo with the downloaded version.

I'll probably get some blank NFC tags from Taobao to try.

I also feel like using a monitor, the only issue is how about the audio output when being docked.. I don't think the switch will give out any sound while being docked.

Yea I know as Long got hdmi connection, even the switch can be connected to a laptop. But the thing is laptop/monitor with audio output have low quality sound quality.
