put cloth on the dock to prevent scratching?

got put currently but i think it's a matter of time.

the side with the kickstand might be tougher to scratch due to the surface material of the stand itself, it's the other side which i'm worried about.

i guess as long as you have sp installed...dont need to worry so much bah..

I thought Nintendo mentioned before, you can't connect USB C cable to the Switch to get video output. The dock is a proprietary design. You can only do console mode with the dock.

No it wont work but there's a workaround. Use a type c cable extender to extend the connection of the dock itself...

i ordered this USB C (male) to USB C (female) from amazon, hope it works. So dont need to dock inside, always got the 'scary' feeling when inserting the switch into the dock. lol :(

the back bottom of my switch has markings already though. too late.

Doesn't the dock itself have some mechanics to detect that the Switch is docked and will turn off the Switch screen? If you extend the port, won't the screen continue to be on? Not a big issue but could be distracting.

It still passes signal through the dock. Have seen a video of it working with screen off.
