Bump. Anyone also looking into Note? Thinking to test drive, but still in a "watch & see" market mindset due to COE.

Is it worth to get the 1.2 Dig-s model?

2 months into driving and I love it.

3k more for supercharged, led nights, auto climate aircon, why not?

Hi there everyone,

Im a very newbie when it comes to cars as the current car is a gift.

currently driving my first car Honda fit and loving it, yet time to change cos i'm left with only 7 more months :(

I've seen Nissan note and l like the size and looks.

Some questions,
Is there a big difference for 1.5 Honda vs Nissian note if I were to get the supercharged premium model?

Any idea the price now for note? Been looking around sgmart and some looks so complicated.

Thanks so much in advance, need to calculate my budget.
Anyway, any other recommendations? I love to have a small hatchback cars, not Suzuki swift though..

Nissan note hatchback has a major issue. Whenever the car goes above 100 kmh, the air con pumps out a strange odour. The same thing occurs whenever the rpm goes beyond 3000.

Nissan workshop technicians said that one should not drive beyond 100 kmh in Singapore. But in JB, highway speed limit is 110. Does that mean that one should buy a Nissan Note and drive only in Singapore. Moreover, they mentioned that their workshop has no facilities to test the car at speed of 100kmh.

$70k+ for a 1.2 L car looks very expensive but the styling looks good.

Attrage offers more value under $70k and the parts should be more easily available since there are a lot of them running around.

Has to look into OMV and equipment level. Otherwise it will be super expensive for a 1.0L VW Golf.

How about spare parts? Let's not talk aftermarket parts, I'm interested in that option as I have a friend who is trying to cough up enough cash for a new ride and was considering Attrage now, so I'm trying to see how Nissan Note will match up in that aspect (which I believe confirm better than Attrage...).

He prefers stock, so I think aftermarket, not much of a concern. The 3 years servicing is very attractive, I do agree.

You bring up a interesting point on spare part. Some agent bring in model for short period then gone. These are the model usually end up spare part issue in future.

Spare parts issue? AD sure have.
Only that owners continued to be carrot-ed by AD or simply sell the car. lolz

You are right. One Mitsubishi little car also has same issue. If you happen to visit some of the workshop. They will tell you very hard to get spare part for it.

Not necessary. Due to short life and may be not selling well. Unlikely AD put their money there to stock up the part. Especially after all warranty expired.

Not necessary especially after some years. As no more bring in the model, they will stop stocking it.
