no display on primary dvi port

hi people

last night pc still ok with display, morning turn on the usual dvi port i use no output, but after switching to secondary dvi output there is display.

should i update drivers or the 1st port fail on me alr ? using a sapphire 5700 vapor x


quick question for 150 bucks - which gfx card most value - games played would be dead space 3 and battlefield 3 . would leadtek 460 or sapphire 7750 be suffix ?

Lastly- why ati price is like highly than nvidia?

Imo, ati is better in bang for buck. I have a 7750 and currently using it to play crysis 3 and far cry on med low settings, and i would say its lag free. Many games are also optimised for amd. However, looking here http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=632&card2=676
The 460 is faster and more powerful, at the expense of power, drawing 160watts compared to 55watts b the 7750 . Specs are almost on par
