Hey guys, not sure whether this is the correct place to post this.

I was using my computer yesterday, then it hung suddenly, so i shut it down and went to sleep. But when i tried to turn it on today, there was no display on the screen (It said : Power save mode or smth like that).

The machine had lights running and fans running, i removed the cover and the graphic card's fans were running as well.

My mouse, keyboard and wireless adapter had no light though.

I have done the following:
-tried using another monitor to test
-removing the rams and reinserting them
-removing the psu cables and reinserting them

any advice on what should i do? some googling tells me that it might be a mobo issue.

EDIT:

Specs are ----->
using this com for around 2 years

If by reseating the gpu means removing it and putting back in again, I've done that already :(

Same issue here as me. Have this on and off frequently. Sometimes removing all USB devices connected to PC works for me. Maybe worth a try.

did that already, just the mobo, graphic card w/ monitor and psu.

mobo runs fine, fans are working but monitor only shows power save mode. tried with another monitor as well, same thing.

i disassembled some other computer lying around and tested another gpu, it doesnt work also. monitor just displays power save mode even though the fans / gpu fans are running.

also did the paper clip test.

so do i have to bring the entire thing over to sls for them to take a look?
