my monitor will go to sleep then after that cannot wake it up. not sure if the monitor, cable or video card is the problem.

how do i troublehsoot this? problem is intermittent.

Press cntrl-alt-del can get out of sleep mode ? I once had this problem of not able to get of sleep mode when I moved the mouse. This thing happened after I took out the GFX and used onboard video during trouble shooting. Reinstalling the AMD driver fixed this issue.
