No options to create RAID

Been trying to setup RAID in the BIOS without success.

Hardware:
Intel Core i9 10900K
Asus ROG Maximus XII Hero (Wifi)
RTX 3090
OS: Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus 500GB
SMA8 Caselabs
iStarUSA BPN-DE340SS-BLACK Hotswap Bays with 6x10TB Ironwolf Pro HDD
16 Port Adaptec 71605E PCIe 256MB SATA/SAS Controller PN 2274500-R RAID Controller

Tried to follow the Asus motherboard manual but was unable to detect the HDD in the Intel Rapid Storage Technology in BIOS
Current Settings under BIOS:
SATA Mode Selection: Intel RST Premium With Intel Optane System Acceleration(RAID)
Boot: CSM disabled

Any advice?

I live in Tampines. Would appreciate if there's anyone that can drop by to help me with the troubleshooting as well.

Are your HDDs connected to the Adaptec 71605E PCIe Adapter or those on the Motherboard?

If connected to the Adaptec 71605E PCIe Adapter, configuring of HDD Array is done using the ARC Utility.

Creating an Array with the ARC Utility

The ARC utility is menu-based. Instructions for completing tasks appear on-screen. Menus can be navigated using the arrows, Enter, Esc, and other keys on your keyboard.

To create a RAID 5 array:

1. Power on your computer. When prompted, press Ctrl+A to enter the ARC utility.
Note: On computers that support the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, or uEFI, ARC utility options are presented with a uEFI/HII interface rather than the Adaptec Ctrl-A interface described below.

To begin using the ARC utility with the uEFI/HII interface, see Ctrl-A or uEFI/HII? on page 76.

2. If you have more than one controller of the same model or family in your computer, select your controller, then press Enter .

3. Select Logical Device Configuration, then press Enter .

4. Select Initialize Drives, then press Enter .

5. Select at least three disk drives for the array, press Insert for each selected disk drive, then press Enter. Caution: During initialization, all data is deleted from the disk. Before continuing, back up any data you want to keep.

6. Press Y , then press Enter . The selected disk drives are initialized, then the Logical Device Configuration screen appears.

7. Select Create Array, then press Enter .

8. Select the disk drives that were just initialized, press Insert for each selected disk drive, then press Enter .

9. WhentheArray Properties screen opens, follow the instructions in the table.

Is it ok to request for someone to come over to my place to configure this raid controller in this forum? I'm lost following the guide.

Since you already knew how to get into the Asus Motherboard BIOS Setup Menu by pressing DELETE key during boot up, the sequence is very similar but with slight delay. Instead of pressing DELETE key, change to press CTRL-A until you manage to get into the Adaptec Card BIOS.

You can also try getting into the Asus Motherboard BIOS to disable to show the Asus bootup logo. This will change the bootup to show text messages instead of Asus Logo.

Check if the Asus Motherboard BIOS settings has another option known something as 'Boot Delay' in number of seconds. Increase it to about 10 seconds so that you get to see the bootup message longer enough for you to press the relevant key to get into the BIOS Setup.

Will be easier if you temporary disconnect (unplug SATA and Power cable from motherboard/PSU) your boot HDD that has Windows 10 installed. Thin will prevent your PC to keep booting up to Windows. Reconnect it back after you managed to configure the RAID Controller and HDDs.
