Ur home location?

Singtel has always have fast speed, but the latency and routing is so poor that some websites and apps does not work well personally.

I thought that only happen on M1....

Anyway, with Singtel on south side of the island everything works well with the overseas websites normally visit, DL speed never less than 100Mbps even inside flats. So personally speaking, Singtel is still the best provider.

I mentioned before a few times (ok someone in this forum might say I repeat again). CMLink routing with UOB mobile app at certain timing took too long and time out. No issue either other telco (TPG, Giga, MR and M1).

Anyway, CMLink also support number porting after you sign up their plan.

This means you can sign up their plan on 1st May 2020, port over the old number to your CMLink on 1st August 2020 when your contract ends.

On the website they will ask you to put your old number and indicate the telco. Even if you put Singtel when your old number is M1, the porting will go through.

I'm using cmlink but I've issues with the Sms.
I can receive SMS from local numbers. But I cannot receive OTP SMS from banks.
I tried several banks but no SMS received. I tried other website to do 2 factor verification also can't receive.
I used my wife HP to SMS myself and I can receive.
Anyone knows the issue?

Have you tried contacting their customer service with regards to not receiving OTP SMS?

Other than banking apps, can you try like Grab, Telegram verification OTP?

Could you check if your SMS centre is the correct:

List of Singapore SMS Centre Numbers:
Singtel Mobile enter +6596197777
Singtel Hi! Card enter +6596400001
Starhub enter +6598540020
M1 (MobileOne) enter +6596845997 or +65 96845999

Since CMLink is using Singtel, check if Singtel moble centre sms is correct

If SMS gateway is correct, then something is wrong with CMlink. Previously, when I ported my line to MyRepublic, I can't receive OTP from bank, after consulting the CSO, they ask me to consult the bank instead. Because I still can receive other OTP from telegram and WhatsApp activation. True enough, it's the bank fault.

I think you have to follow up with CMLink. Cannot be even telegram or grab activation OTP also don't have. But they also have the SMS forward to China number feature, not sure if this has caused it.

Now I have a problem. MyRepublic doesn’t have selection to port in from CMLink.

What can I do now?

Has the issue been resolved? I am considering porting over to CMLink.
