No service for iPhone 5s

Hi guys, I'm using iPhone 5s and also on Starhub. Keep having no service status and I have to reboot the phone to get back the signal. Anyone having the same issue?

Do u happen to be 3G subscript rather 4g? And didn't turn off 4g?

I'm on 4g plan. Lte always turned on.

Take a soft eraser and gently rub the golden contacts on the nano sim card. Problem shd go away.

I keep having this problems for the past 2 days. I gotten my iPhone 5s from day one.

I also got "No service" on my iPhone 5s in Tanjong Pagar area just now in the evening. My iPhone 5s is using Starhub service. But as soon as I move out of that area, my iPhone 5s suddenly got 3G reception. I suspect that Starhub's 4G LTE network must be down in some certain area. But for my friend, their iPhone 5 still got SingTel LTE reception.

No service means no network or the network is so weak that the phone can barely detect. Common problem in some areas.

Same problem suddenly for past few days - M1 with 5S ... my wife's iP5 holds a steady signal even if it means 1 bar

I rarely get "No Service" on my Singtel network. The closest was GPRS and it was damn irritating on iOS 7.0.2 because it takes so long to recover from that state but I realised that iOS 7.0.3 recovers much faster.

I think this problem surfaces mostly on starhub network.

I have ALWAYS seen this happen with iPhones. I have a HTC One and not once....repeat not once I have seen it loose service. With the iPhone 5S (and the 4S), this keeps happening. Well...I am a sucker for Apple so I got no choice but to bear it

Keep getting very bad 4G signal using ios 7.0.2 and 7.0.3.

I stay in Yishun.

When whatsapp, messages get send out very slowly and will encounter "No internet detected".

Surfing internet using safari also painfully slow.

The above started about 3 weeks ago.

I end up switching off 4G and everything back to normal.

If you are in an area where 4G signal is kinda horrible/minimal/poor, it would be best to stick to 3G. How the design of the iPhone radio is that it would seek for the "best" band of communication and in this case is the 4G.

However if the 4G is horribly poor, whatever you tries with the minimal bandwidth is going to make your user experience feel like crap. So instead, drop to 3G which is stronger in your area and start to feedback to your teleco, MP and Straits Times.
