I just bought a GB R9 290WF yesterday. When I fix the computer up and plugged in the cable, the display was fine with the iGPU. When I plugged it in the GPU, it shows no display though the computer had everything running perfectly. I re-fixed the card but still no signal. I'm using a HDMI cable.

Any help is appreciated!

Did the cable work before? [I can't tell you how many cheap but bad DisplayPort and HDMI cables I had already.]

I plugged in the power connectors but still no display. I'm not sure if the card has been detected or not either.

The HDMI cable works if I use iGPU but not for my GPU.

You don't even get an image from the UEFI/Bios?

Seasonic 650w Gold Modular

I manage to get the display after using the DVI port. After I installed the driver for the card (via the DVI display) the HDMI cable worked. I'm not sure why though.

There wasn't any signal for the UEFI/BIOS before installing the drivers when I used the HDMI cable.

Thanks for your help guys! :)

HDMI output should've worked though. Happened to me last time and found out that my PSU was insufficient.
