Hey Guys,

Just start using win 10 for 1 month.

Encounter a weird problem whereby there is sound when I boot up the pc but once I restart the pc the sound will be gone. Plug in and out the cable did not help, but strangely windows can detect the cable when i plug in and out... Reinstall the sound driver help, but once I restart the pc again, the sound is gone.

I found out that if I dun install the sound driver from the Asus support page and use the Windows default would driver. no such issue.

Any advise? Found it so weird.

Using asus-h370f.

Thanks so much!

If you don't need the extra features of asus drivers, can try the latest drivers 2.82 from realtek website...

Yeah, I think if I am using Realtek driver, it's working correctly.

It is the driver that was downloaded from Asus that was problematic. Unless I dun want those extra features.
