Hi, anyone know where to buy Noctua NH-U12P 1150 bracket in SG? Am considering upgrading old system to Haswell for work and VM use.

i3 versus i5 for VM performance? Will re-use old SSD.

Also, any stable motherboard to recommend? Planning on not touching rig again for 3-5 years, like my previous one...

If u still have the purchase receipt for the noctua nh-u12p, I believe you can just email noctua to send you the 1150 kit. Just need to sent the mail along with the screenshot/photo of the invoice of both the noctua heatsink and the 1150 mb and noctua will sent u the kit for free

Thanks for all replies - I know about the Noctua website - I'm just trying to get it faster form locally as by the time they verify and ship will be maybe a month later...

Anyone knows who local distro is? Or has an extra bracket to sell?

1150 =/= 1155/1156. Slight difference in positions.

If TS are currently using the secufirm 2 firm bracket for intel, then the position for 1150,1155 & 1156 is the same. secufirm 2 got 3 positon, 1 for 1366, 1 for 1150/1155/1156 and 1 for 775

Ahh my bad... got confused with CPU sockets vs mobo positions. You are right.

Thanks for all the help, guys - so 1156/1155 and 1150 CPU coolers should be interchangeable?
