If you don't mind, there are some phones with snapdragon 820 processor for about $400 in taobao/tmall.

Even cheaper by 20usd if you get the 3gb/32g variant

One thing about buying there is you need to find your way to install google playstore if seller don't provide such service

Bought zuk z2 pro from banggood, sd820, 6g ram, 128gb. Free shipping to SG, total S$393. Clean Android marshmallow with play store, upgraded to nougat.
