I think you are right...

On my 6.1, once I put in Singtel or Starhub SIM card, VoLTE option will disappear. But once I placed back M1 sim, VoLTE option appears again.

I see. Seems like only M1 4G Voice is supports (normal IMS solution - Ericsson/Nokia Siemens Network profiles), unlike SingTel 4G ClearVoice and StarHub HD Voice+ which has their own special network profiles.

Btw, since you're using all three networks, can I check, are you able to connect to 4G+ or just 4G on any of/all the networks? :D

anyone who use the nokia 7 plus feel like the stock camera app has very strong overexposing?

I experiment with focusing on a black keyboard on a light beige table. Since this phone only does spot metering it will expose for the black keyboard. 3rd party apps like opencamera will take the shot at ISO of around 100-125, but the stock app goes way up to like ISO250 or higher and you get those kind of typical 'blown out highlights'. It seems to happen more in the auto mode than the pro mode.

Might need further testing to confirm this but i also feel like the stock camera has higher tendency to blurrier shots, almost like don't even have EIS.

Do any N7P user here face the problem of phone heating drastically while charging?

Last night i charged it in the non-aircon room, the phone body become quite hot and seems like phone itself will automatically change from fast charge to normal charge.

I just tried on black keyboard on medium light brown table. The exposure is definitely higher compared to my Lumia 950XL. I estimate a similar exposure can be gotten at -0.5 but fortunately can only adjust in steps of +/- 1 The auto mode was using ISO200, pro mode at -1 exposure was ISO100

Yes, the phone is bloody hot when charging from 10%. I noted that it became less hot when it reached about 65% but didn't check if it was normal charging or still fast charging from this point to 100%. The entire charging time from 10% to full was about 1.75 hrs.

I will test and try the phone charger again from 65% to see if it is as hot. If so, will switch to charging from PC USB 3 port as that kind of heat from the phone charger is not good for the battery in the long run..

With spot metering thats how it works tho ;;;

Most other phones tend to take overall scene or maybe center? so the exposure wouldn't be as high

Ya, just a quick check, does it show 4G+ on Nokia phone at all? Cause on my previous Nokia 6 with starhub, i only see 4G, never see anything like 4G+ before...

Haven't officially "open light" for my N7+ 'cos still happily using WP. :s13:

So far charging up at most from 90% and kept the charger on with no noticeable heat generation. Device Monitor also show temperature and battery health within healthy range.

ya spot metering is like that but i think the 7 plus stock app has quite extreme exposure jumps, so it will be like your black thing is exposed to the point of dark gray, and its surroundings can be nearly pure white

the easiest way to test this is to also use open camera. alternate between tapping on black/dark object and light background. do this on both open camera and the stock camera. the stock camera will blow out highlights more

also for some low light shots, recommend going manual if you want to avoid RGB noise. This auto mode in low light reminds me a bit of my old LG G4 where the image processing doesnt handle RGB noise reduction well, unless you force HDR.

My bad, Nokia 6 & 6.1 doesn't have LTE-A, so only 4G.

Nokia 7 Plus / 8 / 8 Sirocco do have LTE-A, but not sure if it supports interband CA (like Samsung/Sony phones), or intraband CA only (like many Xiaomi phones).

Yup, no LTE+ on 6.1.
