A phone is like a computer nowadays. It's prone to many security holes. Google is not doing a good job, unlike, Apple to contain fragmentation. This is most unfortunate.

Instead of developing multiple app doing the same things, they are not making much effort to solve the issue but added more confusion.

I think most of us spend more time with their phones than with their spouse.

So if you can afford, just buy a good phone that can last at least 1 to 2 years.

If not fussy, can buy a $100 phone made from China.

Smaller handphone manufacturers should just focus on the hardware aspect. Let Google handles the OS.

I think most phone makers have supply problem. Not enough capacity to manufacture. Bottleneck is probably the display.

That's why Nokia and Google have to resort to selling in selected markets first.

Expansys is taking preorders now. But looking at the variant specs, looks like lte bands for SingTel is not well supported.
