Hi experts,

Currently sitting at 4gb x 2 ram on asrock z77 pro 3 mobo.
Thinking to upgrade another 4gb x 2 ram (I keep getting memory overloaded on games like LoL / Dragon age and crashing after that) on my windows 8.1 -> Anyone experience the same issues?

I thought 8gb was pretty much ok... I only have firefox and chrome opened :(

Anyway, would using all 4 ram slots (same model) have any issues on the mobo? like overheating on the long run?

firefox and chrome can reach 1gb memory usage.
the more tabs opened the more memory it uses.

so better to close all apps next time? how about utilizing all 4 ram slots... will it cause any overheat or damage to memory controller in long run ?

There should not be any damage to your RAM, RAM slots and RAM controller whatsoever unless you are doing some extreme RAM overclocking.
