Hi,

My current RIG is 1 year old (with a Powercolor 7950 3GB Boost version) but my monitor was an old LG with 1680 x 1050, DVI & VGA only.

I just got a PS4 too.

Not getting TV due to space

Option 1
Connect the PS4 via HDMI-DVI connector to my monitor, for the audio - can use just normal earphones and connect to the DS4 controller? else can connect PC speakers to the HDMI-DVI connector (if it has a audio 3.5mm line out) am I correct?

Option 2
Buy a dell U2414H and can use to connect my RIG and the PS4. it has a audio line out too for the PC speakers.
Just like to ask if my graphic card, can it support 2 x dell U2414H? just in case I another and expand my viewing for normal computer work, maybe put some charts if I buy stocks, or play higher resolution expanded viewing for PC FPS games? Is 1 graphic card enough? or I need to buy another card to Xfire?

TIA

PS: Which is better option? Option 1 is cheap (just buy connector/converter) but can play only 720p. Option 2 is more expensive, but if I buy 1 new dell monitor, then my old monitor no use liao? it's working condition. If buy 2 new monitor, don't know if graphic card can support.. buy 1 more graphic card like too over budget.. oh, still need to buy new computer desk. LOL

Can't make up my mind, so ask the bros here...

Radeon HD 7950 cannot support 2x 1920x1080? I think it can easily support 4x 1920x1080 for display.

Gaming is somewhat different, but what games need 2x 1920x1080? Flight sim or driving?

Can just buy 1X Dell U2414H, connect both the Dell and the LG to your rig, use the Dell for gaming only, use the LG to surf the net and look at stocks. Then your GPU will still be enough for both monitors since surfing the net and watching stocks are not going to strain your GPU very much anyway.

Probably the best option.
