Noobie question about HSF...

For the heat sink and fan, does the fan blow down on to the heat sink, or up away from the heat sink?

Wanted to install a fan on the GPU (current only a heatsink) on moi Mobo cause the temp of the GPU seem to be very high (77~80 deg..:eek:). But not sure about which direction the fan should be blowing...

Just get a 120mm fan and blow it to the Heat sink. This is to blow out the hot air from the heat sink.
