Anyone been there before ? can share your experience in getting the tickets there ? i know need to go north korea embassy in singapore to apply for visa right ?

The only singapore agency stops taking new tour because of the tension few months ago......

But i was thinking of going China and hire a tour from there .

My solo trip though , cos my gf not willing to spend money to go this kinda place haha

Hi, I just came from there a few weeks back. The SG agency that used to offer tours there is offering it again.

I thought it is out of bound for all traveler. But even free, i will not go haha

North Korea is on my bucket list. The more forbidden it is, the more enticing! I managed to peer into DPRK from South Korea and China, but never entered.

the country's actually free for all (unless you're a journalist).

there's a north korea embassy here in singapore where you can get an actual visa in your passport. I opted for a separate piece of paper as my visa and hence had to get it from beijing. fyi, most flights to pyongyang depart from beijing but there are occasional charter flights from singapore or kl direct to pyongyang
