Hello! Good day to everyone.

Honestly, I need help. T_T

I've got a good wraparound as to what I CPU/GPU I want in my first ever rig but AUUUUUUGH I'M GETTING JITTERBUGS really unsure as to what mobo I should take.

Gonna be used mostly for gaming, with a side of programming and photo editing. NOT planning on OC'ing anytime soon.

Budget - 1000-1100$ SGD

So far I've come up with...

HDD:
SSD: INTEL 480GB 540 M.2 = $215 (TradeP./Cybermind)
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB Mini Afterburner/Regular Singlefan = $369 (Cybermind/Infinity Computer)
MOBO: a B250M (Haven't decided what variant yet, and if can be bought cheaper w/ a CPU combo)
CPU: i5-7500 = $315 (Cybermind)
RAM: 16gb 2400mhz (not sure which to take yet.)
PSU: ?
Case: ?

So... any recommendations/Alterations? I'm kinda on a strict budget here and any help re: discounts and getting a good deal is good enough for me. I plan to build the PC in PH around april cuz I don't want it to get damaged in my check in luggage lol

I don't know why you would want to buy here, moreover I'm even more unsure about Philippine pc part pricing, as your parts warranty will be in Singapore. If any problem arise, you will need to ship the parts over for RMA purpose.

Nonetheless, here goes.

CASE: Tecware F3 ($49)
MOBO+CPU: ASUS H110M-A M.2 + i5-7500 ($412)
RAM: Kingston Valueram DDR4 2133MHz 8GB ($85)
PSU: FSP Hexa+ 550W ($68)
SSD: PNY CS1311 240GB ($119)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 mini 3GB ($305 via lazada before any discount)
OS: Windows 10 Home (<$20 via carousell)

TOTAL: $1088 before any discount.

Prices quoted from PC theme or otherwise stated.

Your budget won't have the luxury of 480gb ssd, hdd, gtx 1060 6gb. Of coz, after discount perhaps you can have 1 or 2 of these upgrade.

Tecware is from Philippines. I believe if you buy your casing there it will be cheaper. Then whatever you saved from this and any discounts, then consider getting a hdd, follow by bigger ssd, and finally gtx 1060 6gb upgrades.

GTX 1060 3gb is not that big of the difference compared to the 6gb version. So don't fret, it's almost equally capable in terms of gaming prowess.

PC part pricing in the PH is sometimes more ex (like for GPU) sometimes same, based on pcx.com.ph prices

However, I would NOT buy the case here, or customs in PH will flag you. Just buy the components that are actually cheaper and put them in your luggage.

Thanks for this dude. And yeah I'm mostly here cuz most parts cost higher in ph. Specially GPU, MOBO & CPU.

Everything else is either lower or same.


I'm really tempted to buy that SSD though.. (Intel 540 480GB M.2 from Tradepac for 215..)

Yep, planning to do that. Our customs can be very annoying. They even meddle with our stuff -__-

Also about IT show, do they sell components there as well? My stepdad brought me here to SG basically because of that.
