Then vote them for what?
They field 28 candidates for what?

They did not move a single full motion and it can be moved when agreed by another member.
They have 7 + 2 NCMP.

They put up the manifesto, then jolly bring their manifesto to parliament.

:)

Then vote for jiak liao bee never speak up a single time or 1 time very impactful people for what? Typical PAP lapdog, only know how to point fingers when they are rotten within. Apply the same standard everywhere then i will treat you seriously. Vote out those guys who cannot even bother to attend, or speak up first.

Outnumbered, outalked, ridiculed, ignored, outvoted. You need more opposition , around 30 of them for PAP to change behaviors and take opposition seriously and start listening to them.

In the homes.

It is ok to be outnumbered, to be out-voted, as long as you stand by your principle.
They put up the manifesto, they should push a motion and bring it to the fore-front and talk about it.

Viswa Sadisavan, an NMP, moved a motion.
Yes, the one who hosted the political dialogue.

That's why they need more opp elected in. Do u want 10million population?

So what if they have more opposition MPs if they keep don't bring their manifesto to parliament?
Anyone can ask question, but can they solve the problem?

A motion is a way to debate solutions.

Fox 1,

Kindly inform your masters that the number of opposition supporters is not determined by the opposition parties themselves. It's determined solely by the performance of the government. Pls ask them to reflect.

It is NOT OK to be out numbered. You don't know what you are talking about and what's happening in our parliament.

Push a motion, talk about it? How many(if any) of the whites care?

Rather than solve problems that they create, we rather fix the root of the problem(by preventing bad policy to take place)

Zai Yia Bo... why is your brain so simple...

Motion
A proposal for the House to do something, to order something to be done or to express an opinion on a matter. All questions which come before Parliament or Committee for decision originate from a motion. Before a motion can be introduced in Parliament, at least two clear days’ notice is required for motions standing in the name of a Minister and seven clear days for motions in the name of a private Member. Support for a private Member’s motion must be signified by at least one other Member. A motion is moved by the Member in charge, who makes the opening speech to explain the rationale and objectives behind his proposal. Debate on the motion is open to the floor after the Speaker proposes the terms of the motion in the form of a question. At the end of debate, after the reply by the Member in charge, the question is put before the House for its decision. The motion may be agreed to as it stands or with amendments (which themselves require a separate motion to be made) or defeated. (See also Debate, Right of Reply, Subsidiary Motion and Substantive Motion) S.Os. 33 - 45.

Debate
A formal discussion in Parliament or Committee in which different views may be expressed. All debates proceed from a motion. The Member moving it makes a speech explaining the basis for the motion. The Speaker or Chairman then proposes the motion as a question. Debate may take place on the motion, with Members speaking for or against it. The mover of an original motion has up to one hour to introduce the motion and only he has the right of reply. Reply is limited to one hour. During the debate in Parliament, Ministers (including Ministers of State) and Parliamentary Secretaries are given up to one hour to speak and Members are given up to 30 minutes. At the end of the debate, the Speaker or Chairman puts the question on the motion and a vote is taken. The decisions of the House and its votes are published in the Votes and Proceedings, and the verbatim speeches are published in the Singapore Parliament Reports. (See also Hansard, Language of Debates, Rules of Debate and Votes and Proceedings) S.Os. 41 and 48(8).

No motion, want what debate?
First world parliament???
Scared of being outnumbered?
