However, there is a review, someone posted it somewhere here, that when connected to a monitor/TV, the desktop screen does not rotate to landscape and make full use of the screen size except when playing movies.

Something for you to take note of. I am planning to get one as soon as someone get a glimpse of it!!...

Saw a review in YouTube, using an app called Ultimate Rotation Control to force the note 2 into landscape mode. I'm also on a lookout for this.
