Note 3 4k res filming

I have filmed my video in 4k res(3860 X 2160). However I realised that it cannot be played on my comp and I am unable to upload the Hd version on YouTube.

I searched online that must use FCPx to convert twice to change to 1080. Just wondering if anyone could give any more suggestion.
