Note 3 Camera

It's almost impossible to take photos of my 2 year old toddler with the Note 3 camera. Except when asleep, my tod is always on the move and almost all the photos i took of my tod is blurry. Is there something wrong with my phone camera or is there anything i can do to improve the photo quality? Maybe some settings or some camera apps i can use? I'm on the verge of buying a compact camera just to take photos since my Note 3 camera is unable to perform.

note 3 camera very weak against low light/indoor environment.

Can try with Sports/Drama mode. Or turn on the flash if possible.
Next is to turn on the burst mode and fire away..hopefully there is a clear shot out of them.

note3's low light image capturing is really lousy. you need a brighter environment to prevent the blur. so it's not about the settings. it really sucks

Did you guys turn on Smart Stabilization? Mine doesn't have problems taking pictures of fast moving objects in Sports mode with that thing off.

Is there a way to set the default mode to Sports mode instead of Auto mode?

is there a macro mode somewhere? S2 used to have it.

There's no macro mode in Note 3. The angle of view is also not as wide as the Note 2.
