Note 3 lags on MRT

Hi all,

Just bought a Note 3 and have been using it happily for 2 weeks.

One thing I noticed is that when I travel on the train and there are a lot of people (peak hour), the phone will start to lag. It will keep going to main lock screen but no time or words displayed for 5-10secs.

I suspect this is due to the phone working extra hard to establish a 3G/data connection which is impossible when there are so many people on the train.

Anyone else have this issue? ):

Sounds like your note 3 hates crowds. No issue like this with mine.

especially along the stretches from Tiong Bahru to Redhill. Upon exiting the tunnel, reception will like cut off and states emergency calls only.
Only after leaving redhill station, the connection comes back

It's just a general problem with our trashy service providers. You bring your phone go Taiwan, I confirm you will never face such issues.

Second this so hard. I can get strong 4G reception and crazy download speeds while standing around Shibuya Station and on Mt Fuji, but our telcos here can tell us that the base stations are too congested... Lol. That also has an impact on battery life. :vijayadmin:

We can clearly conclude from this that Jurong East MRT station is taller than Mt Fuji that's why cannot get reception.

Anyone having problem surfing when in the MRT tunnel ?

Guess it's not phone related.

Our tunnels are mysterious blackholes to reception. At specific timings it will not work even if the train nobody one. :s13: One of my Korean clients last time express disappointment at our stinktel network. :s13:

You'll be hard pressed to even get a GPRS connection when in tunnel. Our world grass network.
