I am also using export note 2. Use for a year and no problem either. Those who scared to take the risk will pay more for it lo..I bought the export set for 600 plus last year. No diff from local set..now after 1 year, if I have bought the local set, the warranty also gonna be over..no diff. So I am happy with the purchase

That's true. But there are some who are worried abt not having warranty support. Ultimately if u think u will lose sleep over warranty then better just buy with warranty and enjoy the phone.

I think so far cheaper is the shop nearer to syed alwi rd junction serangoon rd. duno the Name of the company. U can walk along the stretch to check out the $$$.. white normally cost $10-15 more. But the export $$$ now not worth to buy,Unless drop below 800, if nt rather pay 910 to get warranty set.

They are all probably friends though, so heck.. as consumers we have different preferences, some want better price, some want better service The shops compete on different points as well.

Like why people went to MS to hoot N3 despite J2 selling cheaper, MS got better reputation and is more popular among people.

Same like ST and M1, ST more expensive, M1 cheaper but people still go ST for supposedly better coverage while others just go for cheapest M1.

to the seller is we spoil market.. but to us consumers is we earn...
cos if we dun compare with the price from each seller.. than we will lose out... they can just say any price... for example last yr when note 2 launch, a lot of places are oos... n they just jet up the price... the SRP for note 2 is 988 if i not wrong... some shop will jet up till 1099 or 1145...
in the end who earn more n who pay more....

if there is only 1 shop selling and he quote u any price.. either u buy it or u wait lor...

but now there r more shops for u to choose... either u buy for this shop or another shop.

for example take chicken rice, there are so many chicken rice stalls why some seller $3.50 per plate n why some sell $1.50 per plate. cos some know there is 1 thing call less profit but more sale.... but some of them dunno... cos they just wan to earn more profit but never think of a lot of factors like service, attutiute etc....

More shops more competition less monopoly, just look at our telcom companies here, cable tv etc and you will feel it. Consumers need to be respected with proper attitude.
