note 3 s view having problem...

hi, today i just updated my software to 4.4.2. right after updating the OS, my s view could not work anymore... tried to change another s view cover but to no avail... need some advise and help from experts here... thanks a lot...

On 4.4.2 only original samsung s-view can work.third party acc wont work.

There is solution but you need root to do that.

Looking forward to a Singapore update.

It seems that the new update is being rolled out, starting with Europe.

This new KitKat software update has reported for stability and security enhancement while there are also added some minor fixes, including the SD card issues like copying or renaming files which was causing some pain before and the ‘S View’ apps now works.

Flashing the latest NB3 Polish update reportedly fixes the problem. Be warned that doing that may brick your phone.

My S View flip case cannot work on my Note 3 even after the firmware update but it works on my friend's Note 3 phone. Anyone with the same issue? I may need to bring to Samsung service centre.

S view cover(both original and third party) should work on the FW update(4.4.2 - NB4)

I tested my S View case and my friend's S View case and both works on his Note 3 but both cases did not work on my Note 3 phone. I think my phone has either a firmware bug or a hardware problem.

Brought to Samsung service centre and got it back last night. They changed the motherboard and the s view case is working now.
