Definitely the clear one. The glare is not so bad because you can always tilt it around. Matte screen protectors tend to cause the display to be grainy (especially on white background) and it sort of defeats the purpose of having a 1080p display because texts are no longer as sharp.

matt sp increases the contrast of the screen and also reduce the sharpness of the display.

I bought it at StarHub shop when purchasing the phone itself. It costs $13.90 and they will paste it nicely for you.

IMO, there's no point in getting nice and expensive screen protectors when the device is still new because we may find defects that require servicing. Every time you send it to Samsung Service Centre, they will likely damage the screen protector anyway.

After a few months without problem, I would recommend getting the anti fingerprint type.

thanks. So there is such screen protector? clear + anti fingerprint?
Yes. I've used one before. I think it's from Spigen but I could be wrong. It's fantastic. Just bear in mind that it doesn't mean you don't get any marks at all. It's just less prone to fingerprints compared to normal screen protectors.

The naked screen itself is actually very resistant to fingerprints and oil already.

I bought the Spigen Ultra Oleophobic which is clear + slightly anti-finger print type. Quite good. Retain the sharpness and also lesser finger print as compare to normal type.

ultra oleophobic is the middle... i mean between ultra crystal(prone to smudge) and ultra optics(higher contrast of screen and reduce sharpness).

Green Onions Oleophobic.... if they ever do release for Note 3.
Used it on my Note 2 and it's probably the best thing since Estoc in Note 1.
