Just got my Note 4 yesterday.
Realise that the battery drain out quite fast. With 30mins of normal facebook surfing and customizing of handphone and some apps downloading (no video or music playing) my battery deplete from 100 to 80.
Is this normal?

Try turning OFF...

1) Sync
2) Location
3) Android Device Manager in Google Settings
4) Always ON Wi-Fi scanning in Wi-Fi settings
5) Disabling bogus apps like Google+, Play music, News stand, magazine

Last night till today my gf been using the set + idling through the night, started with 68% and now 32%.

i was tweaking and playing around heavily right out of the box settings things up to my preference.

45% to 1% took me about 12-13 hours overall.

What is the correct way to charge the battery?

Can i charge it as and when i like?
Like charging it at even if it is at 60-80%?
Or should i wait for it to drop to 20%?

Thanks!

Just charge it whenever you want, but don't let the battery drop below 20% if possible, and absolutely don't let it drop to 0%.

Also, phones nowadays have charge protection features, so you can pretty much leave it plugged in. But just be aware that when you do that, it's actually letting the phone discharge to ~90% before charging it back up to 100% again in cycles. It's all invisible in the background. Once you take it off the charger, the battery indicator then catches up to the true charge percentage over time. This is why sometimes a phone seems to take a long time to go from 100% to 90%, and other times it takes about 5 minutes of use and it drops to 90%. A better test of a phone's battery life would be to charge it to 100%, then immediately unplug it and use it till the low batt warning comes up.
