Hi all

Not sure if anyone is facing the same problem. Recently when I boot up my note 4, it will go through the process of optimizing my apps. The whole process takes 2-3 mins and after it gets done, the rear side of the phone gets really hot.

On and off, my phone will prompt me to restart as it cannot detect my SIM card. Upon doing so, it will go though the optimize apps process again.

Any experts got solution to this? :(

Regarding the app optimization issue, it sounds like you are running ART runtime.

Did you have developer option enabled?

If not go to Settings->About Device->Tap on Build number about 7 times to enable developer option.

Go back and tap Developer options->Select runtime system and choose
*Use Dalvik.

May also want to reseat your SIM card. If it is not the runtime issue then perhaps someone else can chime in.

Thanks! Switched back to Dalvik... so far so good. :)
