Hello all, just want to ask fellow Note 4 users if they experience phone heating up when playing pvz2 or other high graphics game for 15-30 mins? I'm not sure if my phone is faulty or this is normal. Watching movie and browsing have no issue. Thanks!

PvZ2 is notorious for excessively heating up whichever Android phone it's being played on for no good reason. I actually used it to turn my Note 3 into a temp hand warmer when I forgot to pack cold weather clothing for the night while camping out overseas before. Pretty normal for Snapdragon phones.

No choice the limitation of CPU processors and technology, to drive them further you need more capacities, thus more heat will be generated on such slim device.

At least Snapdragon is better than Exynos, Exynos is hotter

Play on iPhone or iPad actually not so hot. think because iOS is running on dual core CPU, so not so hot.

It's actually because the iDevices are running at lower clock speeds that allows them to generate less heat. Different architecture and software. PvZ2 isn't a game that takes advantage of quad core cpus, nor do I think that it's well optimized for android. There are more intense games that don't heat up the device as much or as quickly. But generally snapdragons run hot. Ever seen an ad from Qualcomm? That dragon breathing fire is quite an appropriate image for their cpus. Lol. Next time can use PvZ2 to fry egg liao.
