Note 4 water damaged

Hi all, as my title stated my note 4 got water damaged. Everything but the speaker, mic and headphone jack works. Not sure about nfc function and stuff. I went to 1 shop in tampines to ask for repairs and they said nothing could be done, the samsung retail shop in tampines mall also told me that nothing can be done. Should I just give up repairs and get a new one instead?
