Not easy to DIY for Layman.
Can buy from taobao/aliexpress/ebay but also chance of getting inferior product or damaged in your DIY fixing.

Imho, buy a cheap $150 USB3 Portable Monitor instead for outdoor usage.
Or top up budget get a portable monitor with HDMI.

In house just use a proper HDMI standalone monitor.

I have done DIY for the LED screen replacement twice and just google youtube for the steps and it takes only 15mins to complete.

Save at least $30 to $50 and learn something in the process.
