I am looking for a new notebook which is lightweight and with a keyboard. I was thinking of Microsoft Surface but someone said Lenovo...

Can you please recommend me the products that I should look into? Thanks.

No budget concern but looking for something lightweight similar to a touchpad and has a remote keyboard.

What are your usage patterns?

Surface is excellent for intents of note taking, web surfacing and general office works but it can get expensive once you start factoring in accessories such as:

Surface keyboard, pen, mini hdmi to vga / hdmi dongles...

They are often sold separately depending on the model you are intending on getting. I.e. Core M3 Pro 4s do not come with a pen.

Hence it is good to get them while they are on bundle sales. Just recently, the Surface 3 was on such a sale, bundled with a keyboard at $499 and $549 respectively.

As a surface pro 1 and pro 3 user myself , support from Microsoft is excellent. It's generally a 1:1 exchange* for a refurb unit. I have noticed minor scratches on my refurbs but there is nothing to be concerned about.

Out of warranty support is available but expensive. It is $799 without Gst for a cracked screen / damaged Pro 3.

Out of warranty support from Simlim Sq is nil / close to impossible. Most repair shops will outright reject or charge an arm and a leg for repair works. Self repair works are possible for issues such as a cracked digitizer but anything else such as upgrading storage or a battery swap would require you to probably purchase a new screen as well.
