Got UX430UN as well if u want bigger screen.

UX331UN got downclocked MX150 though, so you get 10% less performance.

Any recommendation for a JC student need to do project and play some light games. My budget is less than 1300. Wanted to get Dell brand, is it cheaper to buy online? How about the Microsoft office, shall I add-on to the package?
Thanks all

hmm, i personally using MSI GE Raider, it's around 2kg, or you can try the GP version where it's within your budget too.

Hi,

I am thinking of buying Acer swift 3 .

Should I buy from Amazon USA as it is cheaper?

Does Acer have international warranty?

Got a UX331UN while my friend has a UX430UN.

UX430UN GPU got 73 degree Celsius limit, So it has a lot of stuttering.

UX331UN got no temp problem but the full time power when long session gaming can be a big problem. I only got 1.1ghz on both CPU and GPU, while playing rainbow 6 siege and rocket league. I managed to remove the CPU Power Limit but it is pretty hard/annoying to remove it.

What does "UX430UN GPU got 73 degree Celsius limit" mean?

At 73 degrees celsius, UX430UN GPU will get thermal throttled. This results in a lot of stuttering while gaming because the clock will jump between 1300mhz and 700mhz.

UX331UN MX150 is downclocked because the MX150 is power limited at 8W.

Thermal Throttling means that the GPU will reduce the speed (frequency) so that to prevent temperature from raising above 73 degree, which if it does, will cause overheating issues to the device. In a nutshell, it means speed compensation to prevent overheating. :)
