Notebook with International Warranty?

Are there any brands that offers international warranty for laptops? specifically, it should cover usage in the UK.

Warranty issues aside, if possible, would like to have recommendations for laptops that are <1.5kg, maybe closer to 1kg. Uses: able to handle office documents, HD videos, will not be used for games, so Intel HD graphics should suffice.

SSD? well, I'm asking for help on behalf of a friend. Said friend isn't very tech savvy, so as long as the laptop is working, an SSD is optional.

You can also consider the i5 / i7 version, but I dont have the exact specifications with me now. Weight is 1.3kg / 8GB ram / upto 256GB SSD.

Hey, thanks! I took a look at a Challenger outlet near my place to see what was offered. Quite a lot of laptops have at least 1 year international warranty offered, iirc Asus, Acer.

How about a new constraint of roughly $1200, strictly max $1500? Lower cost is always better, of course

Core M is faster than atom but slower than an i5. Its performance can be compared with those i5-Y (i.e. power saving) processors. Its meant close the bridge between tablets and PC.
