quality not as good as find x5pro after comparing a HK friend's nothing 2
don't mind waiting for next product or when camera software is more polished, buy 2nd hand, cheaper

find x5 pro has been out for so long and had so many updates.. np2 only had 1.. np2 camera will only get better.. like np1 camera got much better after updates..

in terms of specs, pretty comparable, although i prefer the find x5 pro camera output quality. i prefer nothing OS
but to spend S$1k and can only get back approx. half for my x5pro, not quite worth it.

Using the Nothing 1 now, will wait for prices to come down abit then trade in the Nothing 1 for Nothing 2. The grey this time round looks way better than the black on Nothing 1.

am even thinking of "downgrading" my Oppo Find X5 pro 12GB+516GB, but the camera quality is making me think twice, thrice

If you're shooting human subject or family members most of the time....no phone can beat oppo output as far as asian skin tone is concern, not even pixel or Sammy...oppo camera is tune towards yellow skin tone. Where pixel and Sammy will favour towards angmo....to make their pale skin more vibrant but make asian Chinese skin more contrasty and over the top.

Oppo just have a softer and dreamy touch across the board on all output .

Just my feel....from a enthusiasts photographer using x100v and DSLR in the past.

Changing of fonts system wide requires root access for normal phones, unless the rom itself comes with it.

Even installing 3rd party launcher cannot install external fonts

This is the most apple feel android phone I've used.....been kinda feeling weird throughout the whole week using this. The animation, screen to screen transition.....the feel. Just loving it.....first android phone that doesn't require developers setting to reduce all 3 animation to 0.5 for me.

Been years since I ditched the ....starting to think if I can adapt back world with my wife*apple loyalist* when 15 come out.

Am I the only one that prefer to set the animation to off? I feel the phone is much fluid or faster after that, the animatio, transition will make the phone like a bit slow lol

Nv turn off. Iirc, they did mention their team spend the time and effort to optimise the OS fluidity and the animations, so i just leave it on

I dont want to waste the r&d effort of optimizing the animations and fluidity. Even with the default animation speeds, this phone flies
