Nothing Phone (2)

Just got my Nothing Phone 2, last night unplugged around 1130pm at 100%, this morning 630am left 88% batt. Drop quite alot overnight. Went to battery settings, battery usage details not available.
Anyone experience such huge battery drop overnight too?

The physical size quite vastly different. ZenFone 10 battery is superb right out of the box.

Both have nice designs but the cam, the ZenFone seems a little bit better? Need to have more time with the Nothing Phone 2 first maybe.

Need more time to determine the cam, just took a couple of photos on the nothing 2.

The reason was quite stupid actually, the zf10 had a software update in early aug, another update in mid aug. After these 2 updates my whatsapp business kept crashing. I thought was due to Asus software not compatible so I offloaded it and got the nothing 2. After which WhatsApp business have the same crashing problem still

If not, I would still be using the ZF10

I prefer the ZF10 small size. Design wise I like both ZF10 and Nothing 2 especially the glyphs. If budget was no issue, I would like to have both of them.

Yes I considered getting the ZF10 too but there were two downgrades with regards to the camera.

They ditched the auto focus on the wide angled and selfie lens. Pity as that meant the ZF9 had macro ability while the ZF10 didn't.

Anyway the Nothing phone 2 has an auto focus wide angled lens that can do macros up to 4cm, so that's why I stuck with the Nothing.... Though the ZF10 main lens probably produces slightly better pictures with its gimbal stabilization.

I think the Nothing is an up and coming brand. Carl Pei, in my opinion is someone with the drive to make a brand succeed. hope to see the Nothing 3 and Nothing Foldable in the near future.

I think the glyphs and the brand itself, many see it as a gimmick but I think they are up and coming. Hopefully they grow well.

This time it's really improved and seems to be a keeper. . Read my Straits Times, watched some videos, tiktok this morning.... Still 96%...such a sipper...
Had issues with random restart but it is gone after I reset it....maybe some app causing instability.

Yes the first few days.... Then now it really is good... If you are still having issues after a few days it may be some app...
