Google’s Circle to Search feature, which first debuted on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices in early 2024, is now coming to the Nothing Phone series with the new Android 15 update that launched this month.

Rolling out now, Circle to Search is available to Nothing Phone (2), Nothing Phone (2a), and Nothing Phone (2a) Plus with Android 15 (Nothing OS 3.0). The feature Nothing says, is being added after the three devices “[passed] additional testing.”

Circle to Search is now available on Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15 for Phone (2), Phone (2a), and Phone (2a) Plus devices after passing additional testing.

Android 15 is now available as a stable build for Phone (2) and Phone (2a), but Phone (2a) Plus still only has the update in beta. You’ll need the build “Pong-V3.0-241207-0124” on Phone (2), “Pacman-V3.0-241210-2057” on Phone (2a), and “PacmanPro-V3.0-241126-1448” on Phone (2a) Plus. The build number can be checked through the Settings menu.

Circle to Search allows users to search what’s on their display by circling or tapping content, or highlighting text. The feature is accessible by long-pressing either the home button or the navigation bar, depending on whether you’re using three-button or gesture navigation.

Nothing says that “other” Nothing Phone models will “support Circle to Search after upgrading to the upcoming NOS 3.0 builds in the future,” specifically mentioning the regional Japanese variant of Phone (2a). This implies Nothing Phone (1) could add support.

Hi guys.

A brand new owner of the nothing Phone 2. Have always been a Poco user since F1 to F5.

But recently I wanted to try out the exciting new Glyph interface. Still exploring the phone.

Hope to see more comments and advice from users here on tricks and tips to get the most out of my phone

Thanks
