Their popularity & status can rival our own chicken rice or BCM in realms of hawker tier food.
Someone told me opening a mala stall can easily make profits these days.
I like mala. The problem is it's not cheap...smelly smelly $8 even just for 1 pax.I hate Mala. Too spicy for me even with 小辣
Sinkies used to perspiring till drop down faceI don’t like the numbing sensation, and it’s usually too spicy for local tropical weather.
China loves mala hotpot during winter months I can understand, but why sinkies eat mala stir fried dishes in hawker centres at 31 deg C weather? That I do not know.
Yeah the spiciness not the most disturbing. It's the salt level.Mostly processed items...damn salty n expensive...y so popular ah..??![]()
