Their popularity & status can rival our own chicken rice or BCM in realms of hawker tier food.

Someone told me opening a mala stall can easily make profits these days.

I don’t like the numbing sensation, and it’s usually too spicy for local tropical weather.

China loves mala hotpot during winter months I can understand, but why sinkies eat mala stir fried dishes in hawker centres at 31 deg C weather? That I do not know.
