Nowadays recommended PC

Hi guys, can help to recommend something for me with budget <1K, mainly use for some simple virtualisation and nox, watching 1920x1080 movie, online video, live streaming(trading website). Don't need monitor, keyboard, mouse, speaker.


can check with u guys, nowadays when self assemble pc have issue/s, we still take the individual part/s down to the shop or direct to disti?

TS, how virtual is your virtualisation? And how many instances of NOX do u run? Per instance cpu and ram setting? If running on the high setting like me, You might want to go for 16gb rams, my home pc running on 6700 and 16gb rams, with 2 stances of Mobile 480p resolution high setting NOX with Tap titans running hiro script, already crying and occasional hangs when using Google chrome. Depends on your usage though and how intensive it is.

Edit: any issues, check warranty, and go back to distro. Some shops at SLS allows u to go back within 3-7 days for 1-1 but if they no stock also same refer u to distro

All the vm r at lowest setting, I am just using to help me to multi tasking stuff. as for nox, max is 2 instances, all with lowest settings.


I am currently using a laptop(i5 and 8gb ram) to use on 1 nox(lowest setting) and chrome(at least 10 tabs), it lags over time for nox, and at the same time my trading platform need to logout and login again to solve the lag issue on my chrome trading platform.

wow..thanks, will explore more on those parts. I used to build my own pc, but have lost touch since I started working..lol
