If both airfares and land transport are paid for by company, what important considerations are there to decide between these two? I only know HND is nearer to tokyo so that saves time.

Flight schedule. There are 3 flights from Haneda and 2 from Narita.

Haneda has a morning, late afternoon and night flight. While Narita has a late morning and an early evening flight which arrives at an ungodly 3am.

Assuming that you're there for work, you may have to settle for 1 that fits your schedule.

If your company is paying for it, why not just go NRT and take a taxi from there? Pay by CC and earn the credit card points.

Time is the biggest factor here. Haneda is in Tokyo, Narita is in Chiba which is beside Tokyo. If your company is paying for everything, why not just land at Haneda? Normally it costs more for a flight to Haneda right?

The N'EX Tokyo round trip ticket is already 4000 yen(abt $50), I'll dun mind paying a little extra to land at HND.

There are alternative to NEX. Depend on where you stay, NEX dun really save much time as well.

I prefer Haneda

Not only it is nearer to central Tokyo, I feel it is not as "busy" as Narita.

Haneda if no special reasons.
Slept on the bench overnight a few years with almost midnight AirAsia arrival.
Even midnight taxi would be a lot cheaper/faster than Narita.

Depend on timing?

Take sq night flight, so far I always like first few in the custom queue.

Minus the fact that TS's company is paying for his(I would go with HND for this since all paid)..

Gonna see flight timing and price difference..

Like for now i'm checking Oct tickets, looking at redeye flight..

To NRT on SQ would be about $1.5k plus abit for 2 pax while ANA with pretty similar timing would cost me $1308/2 pax..So for this case, ANA would be my choice..

HND wise if i take SQ 8am depart SIN and return at 5+pm flight from HND, would cost me $1390/2 pax..Not forgetting i only reach in the noon..And have to wake myself up in the wee hours to go Changi..

So in short, have to see individual flight preference..
