NS injuries.. is it worth it

As a medic, I saw many type of injuries during my NS days and sometimes I ask if it worth it.

It not their intention to get injured but some might be careless, pushing their limit, doing their best all for what.

Just look around izzit worth to take that risk ? To be the fastest? The best in platoon?

my uniform group already gave me injuries.i was sec 1 the ncos hid us at scattered locations n ordered the sec2 n 3s to find us in a rescue operation,time limit given.they took a long time to find me.i was kind of enjoying all the hustle while being so well hidden.by the time they found me it was near times up.so as not to get punished,the senior who found me carried me by himself n ran like mad,in the end he tripped n dropped me,n the shock to my body i felt was like nothing i ever felt before.they turned me into a real casualty.
