Hi guys, apologies if this question has been asked before but during my pre-enlistment last year, I got referred to National Heart Centre for my medical. So after the diagnosis, they've asked me to come back in a years time(which is next month) for a blood test. So now that I'm in NS, I would like to enquire if this upcoming test and further diagnosis would be fully covered by my NS card or would a percentage of it be subsidized.
I've called them to ask but they weren't really clear so I thought to ask if there's anybody else who had a similar experience. Thanks in advance and also apologies if it's been asked before.

You were referred to NHC at the behest of CMPB, so you're definitely fully covered.

Now that you're doing NS, if you're referred for any medical appts by an MO in the future, it'd be fully covered too. If you walk into any polyclinics or restructured hosp, all you have to do is show your 11B, and you're covered too. This is for walk-in consultation for minor cases. Not sure for your own specialist consults, since usually you'd consult the MO first then they'd refer you accordingly. But most likely (ask!) covered by your 11B.

Doesn't cover privately-run clinics, hosps or specialists though, do take note.

For specialist consultations and treatments are covered if no particular specialist is specified.
