NS Savings

hi guys, i am currently in my ns service and am still drawing allowance from my parents.i intend to save 500/month for term of 5 years.any idea which saving plan/endowment suitable as such.

I do not have the displine of saving money hence(tend to splurge whenever the pay come in), hoping to look for plans that will deduct/giro from my bank account so i can control my spending

Firstly wean off your allowance from parents first?
Then use the time in NS to learn more about investing, lots of good books and blogs available.

If 5 years is all you are aiming for, please do not sign any 10years, 15years plan. You will have much more options opened to you once you hit 21. Discuss openly here before you sign up any plans.
