In most cases, I think they'll not call you up once you complete your cycles. Unless ROVER or got impending conflict.

I think so too. Although no need IPPT, there's alot of inconveniences associated with having to go back for ICT.
Work, family all need special arrangements. As we get older, the commitments increase.
No longer like in early 20s so carefree just take care of ownself.

The friendship and bonds build up over the years are compelling reasons.
But people come and go.. So I don't think its necessary to go back for ICT for that reason alone.
