NSmen SCS course

Has anyone been through it? Heard it's a 3 weeks high key stay in SCS for one cycle. Curious because I hear people talk about it, has any one here went for it?

Yes. You will join the NSF cadets for 3 weeks.
For those 3SG that want to move up to PS appointment during ICT.
1 of the new 3SG went for it just this year after our HK ICT. Next yr I should expect 1 roof on his 3 stripes and his PS appointment.
You wanna go ar? Talk to your OC la. He can nominate you.

Ooh, I mean like current CPL/CFC (NS) going for SCS to become 3SG

My old vocation is obsolete and some of us were bumped into spec estab vocation. Commanders were saying about the NSmen SCS course and if it can be bypassed as we are combat, just curious about this haha

One of my buddy with a CFC rank mentioned that his OC is ok to send him for that. Cos he needs some to fill a spec estab. Then after 3 weeks get 3SG. But until now no sound. Over a year liao. I think maybe not possible.

Haha yeah we shall see how, got a feeling we will just fill in the spec estab as CFCs

if become PS is consider KAH? because if KAH means need to serve beyond 40

PS is not KAH, only CSM is.

usually nsmen who are civil servants will be gung ho for these appt and courses

i know quite a lot, they don't really care tbh, the appraisal your ns doesn't rly make a diff anwyay, and cs ranking dependent on whether your boss like u enough to fight for u anyhow
