Ya, from the site that silverpenut provide, SH-01b have been discontinued. Maybe each model's production cycle is 5 months since it was released on November 20th.

Push this thread up from where it has been hidden for potential users. Must have been gotten hidden when HWZ underwent the revamp.

But the phone works after the CPR?

Anyway, you might want to check with n_bennyhk on it if you had gotten the hypersim from him.

Yes, it should work as well. If the normal phone doesn't recognize your sim, the hypersim is most probably spoilt.

I got question, if using smartphone to do CPR? Will have problems ma? I currently using Omnia 2 to do CPR, and if I need to do CPR, it needs the hypersim together in the Omnia 2 in order to read the sim card normally on Omnia 2...

Omnia2 is fine. I use the OmniaPro B7610 for CPR as well. The last part is a bit puzzling though. You mean, the Omnia2 does not recognize your SIM if you do not insert the hypersim and SIM into the Omnia2?

@Skyline R34 Yea. I tried the first CPR, it's fine w/o the hypersim. But subsequently, the 2nd round, it doesn't recognize the SIM card w/o the hypersim attached to it.

Lately, I give up on trying to regain signal, what I do is just off the phone when I'm travelling and only on it when I'm up on normal ground levels.

@Konstine That's something I've never heard or experience before

You might want to try plugging in your SIM card into the Omnia2 again, without the hypersim. If it doesn't work, try other phones (parents, friends etc) It's really unusual that the Omnia2 will not recognize the SIM without the hypersim since the hypersim acts more like a bypass and doesn't modify the SIM card(not that I know of).

I finally figured out what went wrong... I have to manually set the network back to M1 when I use the SIM back to Omnia 2 =.=
